Synopsis

The island of Hope has new visitors who want to build a bridge to the "new world", following the aftermath of war, which had a devastating effect on the islanders. Katherine believes her husband did return from the war and that he is hiding in a shack, which stands in the way of the bridge being built. The islanders get split into those who want to move on and those who want things to be left just as they were.
